IMPORTANT INFO

Your rental begins at the exact time of your reservation. To help you transition in and out comfortably, The Light Studio provides a 15-minute grace period before and after your booking. This allows time for settling in, unloading or reloading, and light cleanup. Any additional time needed beyond the grace window will be billed according to our standard rates. If you’d like to extend your rental the day of, please text or call us at (786) 429-5555 and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.

CANCELLATIONS

At The Light Studio, each rental time is thoughtfully reserved just for you. While rental fees are non-refundable, we’re happy to offer a one-time reschedule when needed. To qualify, your request must be made at least 72 hours before your original rental time, and the new date must fall within 30 days of your initial booking.There is no rescheduling fee.

If your rental is less than 24 hours away, rescheduling is not available and a new booking would be required.

STudio Policy (Please read before booking)

Rental Timing & Session Flow

○ Rental time is defined as the time selected during booking.
○ You may enter 15 minutes before to set up and settle in.
○ You must exit within 10 minutes after your rental time.
○ Overtime will incur a $50 late fee per 15 minutes thereof.

Clean-Up & Responsibility

○ You are responsible for cleaning up after your session, including removing oversized trash, food, or personal props.
○ Return any moved furniture to its original location.
○ Notify studio staff if any damage occurs during your session.
○ You are financially responsible for any damage caused by your clients, pets or misuse of the space.

Furniture, Props & Decor

○ Do not rearrange or alter seasonal installations or styled sets. You may add props but set must be left in its original styling.
○ Furniture may only be moved with studio attendant.
○ No tape, nails, or adhesives may be used on walls, props, or windows.

Pet Policy

○ Pets allowed only with prior written approval.
○ Must be under 25 lbs, potty-trained, and well-behaved.
○ Allowed only during the last 3 hours of the studio day.
○ You are responsible for any pet-related damage or cleaning.

Not Permitted

○ No adult-themed content, nudity, parties, glitter/confetti, fog machines, smoke bombs, or open flames.

Communication

○ Share the client-facing version of the studio policies with all clients before their session.
○ Failure to enforce studio policies may result in being asked to leave without refund and denial of future bookings.

These policies are for the individual renting the studio & is not intended for client distribution.

Additional Studio Policies

Shoe & Floor Policy

○ Shoes must be new or like-new.
○ Heels must have rubber tips, exposed metal heel nails are not allowed and will damage the floor.
○ If shoes are deemed unsuitable, clients will be asked to remove or change them.
○ Avoid wearing brand-new or unwashed denim, as dark dyes can transfer and permanently stain the white furniture.

Furniture & Props

○ Please do not move or sit on props or furniture unless directed.
○ Seasonal or pre-styled sets must be used as-is.

Children & Safety

○ Children must be supervised at all times.
○ No running, jumping, or climbing on furniture.
○ Do not pull on the curtains as this poses a risk of injury or damage.
○ Parents/guardians are liable for any damage caused by unsupervised children.

Pet Policy (If Approved)

○ Must be under 25 lbs, potty-trained, and well-behaved.
○ Allowed only during the last 3 hours of the studio day to accommodate allergy-sensitive clients.
○ You are responsible for any pet-related damage or cleaning.
○ If the policy is violated (unapproved pet, damage, behavior issues), the pet will be denied entry or asked to leave immediately.

Cleanliness

○ No food or drinks on white furniture or styled sets.

Not Allowed

○ No glitter, confetti, smoke bombs, loud music, or open flames.
○ No adult content of any kind.

FREQUENTLY asked QUESTIONS

  • Your booking includes natural light, professional studio lighting, curated furniture, backdrop of choice, high speed Wi-Fi, a coffee/snack bar and a private changing area.

  • Standard rentals include up to eight attendees. Larger groups or productions need prior approval and may require proof of insurance.

  • Yes. We welcome branding days, networking events, and workshops. Custom half day, full day, and multi day pricing is available. See booking page for more details.

  • Please include all setup and breakdown time in your booking, as early access is not guaranteed but we try to welcome you in 15 minutes prior to your start time. 

  • If the schedule allows, we are happy to extend your rental. Overtime is billed in thirty minute increments.

  • Yes. You can add an assistant for lighting, styling, or behind the scenes content at checkout.

  • Pets are welcome with prior approval during the last 3 hours of the day. 

  • Yes. We create seasonal installations like The Santa Experience, Winter Wonderland, Back to School Minis, Mother’s Day and more! Stay tuned for current offerings.

  • We are located in Miami Lakes, Florida at the South Pointe Shops. Free and easy parking is available right outside the studio.
